Bottle warmer heats single bottle of formula or milk quickly and easily

I have the From Dusk To Dawn warmer which is wonderful but is to big to carry the whole thing back and forth from the kitchen to the bedroom at night and vice versa. That's why I bought this one to keep on the kitchen counter for daytime feedings. I am so glad I did. This is a great warmer! Its terrific design holds ANY kind of bottle PLUS includes a special basket to heat baby food jars. The water vile is transparent and has lines so you can customize and remember the perfect water level for the amount of formula your heating. The "on" button lights up when it is running and shuts off automatically when it is fully heated. (My 4 yr old son even tells me when the bottle is ready) Its also nice and small so it doesnt take up much room on your counter. I'm very glad I purchased this product.

We love our Quick Serve bottle warmer. It is fast, and works great with our disposable bottles. We have used a more expensive warmer in the past, and this one works even better. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking. It is easy to use- just put the water in, turn it on, and by the time you get a diaper changed, it is ready. It works with steam, so the bottle isn't soaking wet when you take it out.
Must-have for Nite Time & Early Morning Feeding

I read the reviews on this product and several others. I decided to buy this one and I am glad I did. During the day I don't need it because I make the formula on demand. Before we go to bed I make 2 bottles of formula and refrigerate it. When our baby wakes for those 1 AM and 6 AM feedings, I grab a bottle out of the fridge, throw it in the warmer, grab the baby, change her, and when we are ready for that bottle, it is perfect! Just the right temperature. I use the Evenflo bottles with mine, which work great. I, like the other buyers, have had to learn just how much water to add, but when you get it down pat, it works like a charm. I highly recommend this unit. It has simplified our lives and made those early feedings so much more pleasant. Love this item. It was well worth the purchase price and the convenience is worth that and more.

This is the best warmer out there. I tried quite a few before I found this one. It's fast and the amount of water they tell you to put in actually is the right amount. (More or less. More for Avent bottles, a little less for the thin Gerber bottles). But at least the warmer uses the same amount consistently. The Night and Day warmer was so finicky. The same amount of water would leave the bottle stone-cold one time and sizzling hot the next. Don't settle for a warmer that takes 8 minutes (like my girlfriend's). This one heats in about four minutes. I don't know about other people, but I don't have to wait ten minutes to use the warmer again.
serves its purpose

This bottle warmer serves its purpose just as well as the other more expensive warmers with bells and whistles. My baby sleeps through the night, so there was no need to have an insulated unit to keep bottles cooled overnight. Besides, I just pull bottles out of the refrigerator. The temperature doesn't come out exactly the same each time, but it does take the chill off the milk enough to satisfy my baby. It works great with all sizes of bottles, including Avent 9 oz bottles. Furthermore, this unit is smaller than other bottle warmers, therefore it doesn't take up too much countertop space. Great product!

Avent Express Food and Bottle WarmerThe fast, safe way to warm expressed milk and baby food, the Philips AVENT Electric Bottle and Baby Food Warmer warms 125ml/4oz milk at room temperature in around 4 minutes. Just add water and select the setting. This warmer heats gently and evenly- no hot spots so it's safe for your baby. The Express Food and Bottle Warmer fits all Avent bottles, magic cups, and food jars.
Bottle warmer heats up bottles and baby food jars quickly and evenly
Small size makes it convenient to plug in anywhere, even right next to your bed
Avoid dangerous hot spots that can occur with microwave heating
This bottle warmer works great!! Since we don't have a microwave to heat water quickly, and I got tired of trying to heat bottles in warm water, a bottle warmer seemed to be the best solution.
I choose this brand because I use the Avent bottles and because a local store had it marked down to $24 (I didn't know the original price, and didn't realize what a deal I was getting). I was hoping it would work well, but it has surpassed all my expectations. It heats VERY quickly, even from refrigerator temperature. It's easy to use, clean, and store. Just be sure and follow the instructions. Once it begins to blink, remove the bottle and check the temp. I waited once and the bottle got quite warm. But, everytime I've removed it right away, the temp. has been perfect.
One note on the blinking light. The instructions say when the light blinks, the water has reached the proper temp. Now blinking to me means the light going on and off every few seconds. I guess this is not what blinking means to them. The light will go off, stay off for about 30-60 seconds, and then turn back on for 30-60 seconds. I didn't realize this was "blinking" until I waited through a few cycles and found the bottle very warm. So, I just put it where I can see it and remove the bottle when the light goes off the first time.
Also, as the other reviewer said, there is an on/off switch on the back of the until.
I highly recommend this product!!
Better than the steam-based ones

We use this warmer with the Dr Brown's glass bottles and have been very happy with it. Originally we had the steam-based version from Philips. It worked great as well, but the lid sometimes got in the way, you couldn't always tell how much water was at the bottom, so we dumped and refilled every time.
This warmer just sits there quietly, warms up quickly and you don't have to guess whether the warming is done or not because you can feel the temperature of the milk through the glass in the unsubmerged portion of the bottle. At first we thought it would take much longer than the steam-based version but haven't found that to be the case -- 2-3 minutes is enough.
The one thing we've found is that the bottles warm better the higher the water level, so we fill it to the brim each time. Also, it can be easy to forget this is on and we've found it will start to super-heat the water to a low boil. Left on overnight (we unplug each night) this could be a problem.
Amazing!!!

This is a great warmer! We used it primarily to heat breast milk. It's great because you can adjust the heat and it's CONSISTENT. When you first get it, set the dial in the middle, put a bottle of refrigerated milk in it and then keep testing it at 1 minute, 2 minutes, etc. until you know how long it takes at a dial setting to heat the milk to the temperature you want. If you know you want more time to let the bottle heat, turn it down and do the same test. Likewise for less time. We got it so we set the dial at a position and left it for 3-4 minutes and got exactly the temp we wanted. We used it for more than a year and the thing was consistent the whole time. It's espeially great because you can leave a nanny with instructions and feel more at ease that she'll get it right.
I spent a lot of time scrutinizing bottle warmer reviews before deciding on this one. I breastfeed, but give my daughter the occasional bottle of expressed breastmilk. Early on I just warmed bottles using hot tap water in a cup, but it took forever to warm refrigerated milk. This bottle warmer does the job quickly. You do have to remember to turn it off, and if you leave the bottle in the warmer for too long, it can scorch, but that, to me, is to be expected. I just keep an eye on it and haven't had any troubles.

It is hard to hold the baby in one arm while swirling the bottle under the water with the other one, checking the temperature, etc. Now when I hear my little one start to fuss and I know it's feeding time, I put the bottle in the warmer, go change his diaper, and by then it's all ready for him. Just go ahead and spend a few extra dollars on this warmer. It will save you the time and frustration of dealing with the cheaper ones. This warmer gets it right every single time. It is small and compact, lets you know warming is finished, remembers the previous warming times, and automatically adjusts the warming time if you're doing two bottles in a row, i.e. if you have twins, etc. It truly is perfect. I went through 3 warmers, including the 1st years brand - they were both very aggravating to use and inconsistent. Obviously this can be frustrating when you have a hungry baby on your hands. I can't speak highly enough about this chiller/warmer. Every night I know I will not have to go downstairs to get a bottle, warm it, and bring it back up while baby is crying.
Now, all I do is take the bottle from the chill compartment (complete with ice pack), and place it, with a capful of premeasured water, in the warming compartment and hit a button.
While I change baby's diaper, the bottle is warming, and I am ready to go. This equipment has been a godsend. Actually, I can't think of any equipment that I could live without less.
No complaints whatsoever about this great bottle warmer.

We have twin infants who are formula-fed... lots of bottles being heated here. We have tried cheaper bottle warmers and burned out two of the cheaper ones before the twins were 2 months old. This one is by far the best out of the three different models we've tried.
A couple of things to note: it's easy to use for us, but we're familiar with baby products and such. For grandparents who come and try to babysit, the multi-step process to use seems to be too much for them to figure out.
It took us a couple of tries to figure out that our formula (thickened with rice cereal because of reflux issues) needs to heat on the baby food setting, so it takes a little bit longer to heat 8 oz of refrigerated "baby food" in a bottle. But it heats so thoroughly, without overcooking.
We love it so much that we're ordering a second one for downstairs (kept the first one in the babies' room). It's worth the money and seems much hardier than the other ones we used in the past!
After 2 weeks of fatherhood and realizing that the "hold the bottle under hot tap water" wasn't exactly efficient or fun, I read lots of reviews on these bottle warmers. We're EXTREMELY pleased with the Avent iQ warmer, which does exactly as promised at all times. The pattern of button punches a few folks complained about aren't an issue - just requires the user to pay attention. It fits even large bottles (we use Dr. Brown's wide-mouth) just fine, which was my biggest concern, and heats evenly every time. As with all steam-heaters, you have to be careful when grabbing the warmed bottle out of the warmer - just screw on the nipple and all is well.
Great product, we're very happy with it after 2 months of heavy use.
Excellent time saver

A few of the other reviews have said this is hard to use, but I found it quite simple.
You use 1 oz of water if you are warming a bottle from room or chilled temperature, and 5 oz if you are warming frozen milk or any non-liquid food from any temperature.
Hold the power button for 3 seconds until it beeps. Select the appropriate icon for food type and temperature. (Bottle/Jar and Room Temp/Chilled/Frozen) Then, press the arrow icon until you reach the amount of food you are warming (in ounces) and then hold the arrow icon down for a few seconds until it beeps and begins the warming process. Not difficult.
I do find that sometimes it is good to tell it to warm 3 oz of food, even if you only have 2 in the bottle. It seems to do a better job of warming it if you tell it there is a little more than there actually is.
Other than that, great product!

I'm a father of a 4 day old and thought we wouldn't be needing a sterilizer for a while since my wife and I planned on breast feeding exclusively in the beginning. Turns out that our baby had borderline Jaundice and it was recommended that he get plenty of fluids so we started supplementing with formula. I bought this product at target for about the same price as on Amazon. I didn't have the luxury of waiting for delivery.
Pros: It works, it's simple (just asdd water and you can use the bottles you are going to sterilize to measure the water), it holds a lot, it is compatible with different brands of bottles (we have doc brown and avent), it can hold other non feeding items that need sterilization, lid clips eliminate accidentaly opening after use lessening chane for steam burns
Con: no steam vent to release pressure before opening, no indication that proper temperature/time has elapsed for thorough sterilization
Responses to other comments: water comes out everywhere when opening - sure some water comes out some of the time, but if you open it carefully it's a minor to non-issue. Unsure if it's BPA free - of course i wish we knew for sure if it was BPA free, but in the end nothing on this product will go into my baby's mouth so it's a nonissue for us. I'm not chemist, but my understanding is that BPA is a chemical compound that is part of the structure of certain plastics. it's not like BPA can unbind with plastic molecules in this product and magically transfer over and bind with a bottle or nipple. In my opinion, as long as the bottle and nipple is BPA free, we are comfortable.
At the end of the day, i'm happy with this product. if i had the luxury to wait for shipping, I would have strongly considered the microwave sterilizer from The First Years as i've had good experiences with that brand and it has a design to address the cons I listed above.

This warmer is good. I don't have anything to compare it to because I don't have any experience with any of the other warmers on the market. You have to figure out how much water to use for your specific bottle - be it glass or plastic, and how many ounces you are warming up....and how warm/cool the liquid is to begin with. There are variables to get it just right but it does have a waterproof "quick reference guide" that sits in a little slot in the back.
I've used this machine for several months now. I've warmed bottles, baby food and have sterilized nipples, pacifiers and other small bottle parts in it. It is quite the multi-tasker! You do need to clean it with vinegar, for limescale/hard water buildup. But, so far, so good.

Minus one star because - You MUST clean it once a month with the vinegar solution or else the heating element gets gross. (1 oz vinegar to 4 oz water, let sit.) Of course that may be because ours is several years old.
True, the beeping is loud, but since we have it in the kitchen I can throw a bottle in, then run over to the bedroom and change the baby, and still hear the beep, so for me, it's perfect. I'm going to buy another one for visits to grandma's house, as well.

This thing does the job, and we have no real complaints.
The beep is loud, but it bugs me more than baby.
It does develop brown gunk in the bottom after a while, and we use distilled water in it.
I accidently noticed that If I add water and bring it to a boil, that it dissolved all the brown gunk.
Then I shut it off , swirl the hot water around, and carefully dump it into the sink and it's clean!
Its much easier to clean it that way, than to try to wipe the brown gunk out of it.

Once both are selected (you can tell because both buttons will be lit up), the bottle heats up quickly. I like the flexibility in being able to use different bottle sizes by simply wrapping it around the bottle and tightening the velcro fastener.
Reliable and quick bottle warmer

I was a little anxious about buying this bottle warmer because of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I did! I specifically wanted this one because we use glass (BPA- and plastic-free!) bottles, and I needed something with flexibility and girth.
It is easy to slip the bottle in, adjust the velcro strap to make it tight-fitting, and then to push the bottle size button, and then the on button. The first time I used it I pushed the bottle down too far and it made the top of the glass hot. However, I make sure that the bottle is in correctly, and once it's going, the whole setup sits securely in the cupholder in our car.
Within 10 minutes the bottle is perfect and ready for a nice warm meal on these frigid days!
I would highly recommend this car bottle warmer for use with any bottles.
Works great

I have been using this product for over two months now and it never failed me once. I heat up my sons 8 oz Similac ready the feed nursers in our car (Land Rover) in about 4 minutes. However in sisters car ( Honda )it takes about 15 minutes to warm up. So it must vary by car.
Gets the job done

Great product. Always comes in handy when we're on the road. I love the fact that you can leave it plugged in but not necessarily have it on. Also having the 5oz & 8oz choices are a plus and from what I've seen - not really found on any other car warmer. Either way - it gets the job done.
Good for Long Road Trips. Only compatible with large bore cigarette lighter outlets
Reviewed by: Vijay Krishna, Rochester NY Review Date: 2009-05-15
First off: This is useful only for the longer road trips. Not for use inside the city you live in and for commuting from daycare to home or to the mall.
We used it primarily for a family trip to Pittsburgh, PA from Rochester, NY in the winter. It was a lifesaver. We used it when the 6 month old had to feed and we had just passed the last rest area on the freeway.
The warmer takes at least 5 to 10 minutes to heat the milk up. Does a good job and gets it warm enough.
Is only compatible with the large bore cigarette lighter outlets (not the narrow kind that some cars have). Our 2008 Acura MDX has the wider kind, so does the 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, for example. However the 2008 Jeep Liberty (which we rented at one point) cannot take this size of power plug.
Given the time it takes to heat it, you need to plan in advance of feeding time. And if you're in a city where you have a restaurant or mall that has a microwave or other warmer - you can heat your formula much faster there...
As I said, this is for use when you are cruising along at 65 mph and there is nothing near by that can heat your milk.

I ordered this one because the others had buttons in the bottom that would turn off when the bottle was not directly on the sensor. since the others had oval bottoms they didn't fit in a standard cup holder either, thus it had to sit on it's side and the bottle would move off the sensor and it would turn off. this one stays on , heats quickly, and fits in cup holder.

Takes a long time to heat the bottle up so start warming 15 mins before a hungry baby starts crying. I wish it had a timer or a beeper because I accidentally left it on the lighter and burned it up in a week. Good tool but I found a drive thru cup of hot water a faster and easier method.
