I originally bought the "Swing Tray - Portable Booster Seat" because it was cheaper and I thought that it would be just as good. Well, it fell apart. I got this one and have been very please. It's is like a travel version of the Healthy Care Highchair.
There is a removeable feeding tray that can be put in the dishwasher. It has a cup holder and snaps right on to the main (blue) tray.
There are three different height settings. This is great for traveling because different tables can be different heights.
The back of the car and the trays are removeable, turning the seat into a booster for older and/or larger children.
The seat is all one piece and there are no seams or crevices for food to get stuck in. It also makes the seat very easy to clean.
The seat has a three-point seatbelt that adjusts, so it can accomodate a growing baby and toddler.
The booster folds up and even has a shoulder strap to make it easier to travel with. There is a lid that snaps onto the feeding tray. It is also dishwasher safe. I like the cover you can put on the tray, just so you know it's not getting dirty.
There are straps on both sides and on the back of the seat. This makes it much easier to fit onto a variety of chairs. This is great especially when eating out.
Definately one of my better choices in baby gear
Reviewed by: PghYinzer, Pittsburgh, PA United States Review Date: 2004-07-23
I have made some unbelievably moronic choices when it comes to baby gear. This was definately not one of them!
I had originally wanted to just go with an infant to toddler feeding station set up, but then I saw and purchased a Peg Pergeo Prima Pappa out of the PennySaver. Oooooh, Peg Perego... Had to have it...
I hated hated hated HATED that chair. It was huge. The tray was too high. It had a zillion and one little nooks and crannies to get food into. I ended up shoving it back and forth between the kitchen and the laundry room for months. Once my baby really got into eating solids (which he didn't do until 7 months) I fed him in his bouncy, on the floor. I just didn't want to deal with cleaning that high chair. Even once he got to be a better (neater) eater, the space issues drove me bananas.
I sold it - at a loss - and bought the Fisher Price booster seat instead.
I love love love LOVE this little chair.
First of all, it goes on our dining room chair - so it takes up no additional space. My baby fits in it very comfortably - it is just his size. I can put Cheerios on the tray for him and he can pick them up and eat them (although it does seem he drops and sits in them about half the time, too...) No nooks and crannies so clean up is easy. We can easily pack it up and take it to a resturaunt and he is so happy to sit in his little seat, smack the tray, play with his toys, eat his Cheerios - we are able to eat out in public again. I never thought I would be a germophobic parent but I do appreciate being able to take our own seat along from a cleanliness aspect, too. This chair is inexpensive enough that if you are lazy, or just like to be prepared, you could even buy two and always keep one in the trunk of your car for going out.
I don't really see the point in having the tray insert - the tray is so easy to wipe down but, who knows. Maybe it will come in handy some time.
I do have some concerns about this chair really suiting a child from infant to toddler. It does not recline, as some of the other boosters do. However, in my experience, my child really was not ready to eat until he was able to sit up right. I think that a lot of people force solids onto children too soon, partly in hopes of getting their kid to sleep through the night sooner, partly out of deference to grandparents. You can always feed your baby in his bouncy, if he needs a reclining feeding seat.
It does seem a little small to fit a toddler into, but once the tray is removed and it is used as just a booster seat, it will probably be fine. I really like that your child can get so close to the table using this little seat.
Thumbs up, way way up, for this little seat. I plan to buy two more as baby gifts for my brother and cousin who are expecting babies in October (not with each other).
--Update--
I had twins last year and we needed a second booster. I wanted to get the same one and we went to TRU to get one - but they only had the yellow and orange one. I did notice it didn't have the extra tray, but I also noticed it cost less. Since the extra tray was kind of useless anyway, I didn't mind much. So we got the yellow and orange one and took it home and then I realized the height doesn't adjust like it does for the green and blue one. Arg, I thought. Then I thought, does it really matter?? The yellow and orange one is at the same height as the blue and green one when it is in the 2nd/middle position. So I just put the blue/green one in the second position, set the chairs up next to each other, and let the girls eat. Works just fine. I was a little miffed at the cutting out of features but it's nice that the price is lower - and really these features aren't needed. I'd assumed the blue/green one was d/c'ed when I only saw the yellow but I guess that's not the case. So blue and green, or yellow and orange - they're both good.
You will love it, I promise!

I recently got rid of my very expensive Peg Perego high chair and replaced it with this. The high chair was impossible to clean and feeding time turned into a huge mess and left me with a major clean up job every time my 10 month old son ate. I don't know why I ever got a high chair to begin with. Just save yourself the hassle and get this booster instead. I can't think of anything bad to say about it!
The tray fits perfect in my dishwasher and comes out looking brand new after every wash. I love the fact that the tray has 3 different positions when attaching it to the seat; on the closest setting I can get it right up next to my son's chest so that any food he drops falls onto his BIB and not into his LAP (which is what happened with the high chair, I had to change his clothes after every feeding). There are no cracks or crevices for food to fall down into. I also love the fact that it folds up into a neat little square so that I can take it with me when we go to visit Grandma. It's lightweight and takes up much less space than a full size high chair. When not in use, I just slide it under the table so you can barely see it. I love the fact that there is no cushion or seat cover to wash. This booster seat wipes off so easily, I never spend more than a minute wiping it off and it looks brand new. I wish someone had told me about this product before I wasted money on a full size high chair!
As close to perfect as it gets!

We love this Booster Seat. It's reasonably priced and has every feature that parents in the real world demand.
The good:
1) It travels well, as it can be completely folded in and it's straps used to carry it over a shoulder like a pack.
2) It can be set at 3 different heights for different tables and for your growing toddler.
3) It straps on securely and most importantly - QUICKLY!
4) All straps adjust, both to the chair and to your child.
5) It doesn't have any cloth or nasty nooks that are hard to clean... Just a quick wipedown is all that's usually necessary.
6) Has a detachable tray with a food tray that comes with a cover. So you can play with playdough for 5 minutes before dinner on the main tray, and then break out your covered dinner when you are ready! Very convenient and sturdy.
7) Solid construction. Our VERY strong 2 year old can't get out of it or break parts off.
8) The straps will come off (with a little work) so they can be tossed in a washer
9) The food tray is dishwasher safe
10) It will grow with you as a booster seat even if you don't use it as a stand alone "high" chair.
I can't think of anything bad about it and that's saying something in the parenting world. Buy it and never look back. In fact, we just put in an order for our second one so we can leave one in the car so we are never without. It's simply fantastic. Our little one has started requesting this seat instead of his (soon to be retired) high chair. He loves eating dinner at the same table with his Mom and Dad.

I bought this because, after two children and two big highchairs, I realized that I rarely used the highchair anyway, so what was the point of having this huge thing taking up half the space in my kitchen? I almost bought the fisher price healthy care high chair, when I saw this at the store. I figured that if I didnt like it, I could always use it for trips to grandmas house. Well, I LOVE it!! It stays on our chair VERY securely, the dishwasher safe tray(s) are great, and I can fold down the seat so that you dont even see it under the table! I put both trays on the bottom rack of my dishwasher with no problems (our water doesnt get to a burning point like some though). It is soooo easy to wipe up after she eats. I also got one of those temperpedic pillow things and cut it down so that it fits on the seat and then made a cover for it out of PUL (water proof but soft). She didnt really seem uncomfortable but I like my babies comfy! I dont think I will even buy a new high chair when the next one comes! I would recommend this to anyone. Oh and my 4 year old DS fits in it perfectly too!

We were reluctant to invest in a big, cumbersome (and, honestly, u-g-l-y) highchair. Have you seen what's out there? If it's not 4 feet wide, it's just ugly as sin.
We've got an open dining area that's part of the living room, so having some big plastic baby-themed-and-printed monstrosity wasn't what we wanted.
So... I remembered when I was a kid my Grandma has a highchair she brought out and hooked on the table when us kids were around and a younger one needed it. I set out to find a similar solution and found the Regalo Hook-On High Chair.
It installed no problem. It's not obtrusive. It takes up almost no space. Our boy has been happy in it since about 6 months old - he's now 10 months (and around 25lbs).
The seat washes beautifully, everything mechanically has been fully functional and easy to use.
This is the highchair we don't notice. It allows our youngest to truly join us at the table (instead of being confined to his own chair/table combo) and we (and I think he) love the togetherness. I like that it doesn't take up any room at our table.
This is the perfect solution for those who:
(1) Don't like the looks of other high chairs
(2) Have a smaller dining area
(3) Only need the highchair out occasionally
(4) Like having baby AT the table, not near the table, for family meal times
I highly recommend this highchair is any of the above apply.
Very good!!

I bought this chair second-hand for my six month old son, and he loves it (whereas he hated the hard wooden restaurant high chairs). It's a great size, easy to use, good color for hiding stains, and comfortable for him to sit in. Best of all, because it folds up so easily and comes with a carry bag, we can be sure that he doesn't get exposed to the germs of every other little kid who frequents the restaurants where we eat!
This is an excellent product, and well worth the money.

I was hesitant to purchase a portable highchair at all. We were moving and it became clear we'd need one until our container arrived at the new house. SO after careful consideration of all the portable highchairs that Amazon offers, I picked Regalo, the only one with 5 pt safety (little one likes to base-jump). Actually very impressed.
It's very sturdy when attached to table correctly (not for use with single post tables), the cover comes off completely for machine washing, appears to be very comfortable for baby too.

Encourage your youngster to explore his wild side and embark on tableside adventures while you prepare a meal. This rainforest-inspired booster seat is chock full of interesting activities and jungle pals to keep little hands busy prior to meal time. Three spinning bugs, a colorful parrot, monkey, frog and gecko slider beads are all eager to make eating fun for Baby. The booster also features: three height adjustments, a dishwasher-safe tray, a back that remove easily so an older child can use, plus a three-point restraint harness and straps for securing it to a chair. Other features include a seatback that nests for portability with the chair straps working as a shoulder strap, and an easy-clean seat with no crevices to trap pesky crumbs. We own 2 of these regular non-rainforest high chairs, plus 1 with the rainforest toys for Grandma's house. It's love! But your probably don't need the rainforest version.
We have limited space, so one of these is our permanent kitchen high chair, strapped securely onto one of our dining room chairs. It adjusts to 3 heights based on the chair's height from the table and the baby's size, and the tray comes with 3 pieces which are dishwasher safe (tray, divided tray insert, and a cover). The tray can also be put into 3 different distances from your baby's tummy depending on his clothing and size.
The tray is very easy to get on and off in a hurry. This is good for when your child inevitably gags or chokes and you need to get to him in a hurry. Also, unlike other high chairs that we've used, he can't remove the tray himself. Some other styles of high chair have a pull latch on the front of the tray--which has the big design flaw of releasing when it's easily kicked!
This folds into a nice, trunk-friendly bundle for carrying around in your car for visiting relatives, etc. The back of the seat has a handle for your hand, or you can use the under-chair strap as a shoulder strap for carrying. I also prefer to take it into restaurants to have the tray available instead of pushing a high chair up to a table. The snap-in tray cover keeps the food tray clean no matter what else is bouncing around in your trunk.
Now we have a second basic one which permanently lives in the car until our next baby comes along, then we will have both our kids in these at the dining room table.
When the baby becomes a toddler, you can stop using the tray and use it as a regular booster chair with the adjustable height for any chair/table height combo.
We bought the rainforest version when we flew out to Grandma's house to keep there. It is super cute, but there is a VERY NARROW window of time in which your baby will be a) big enough to play with it and b) small enough to be interested in this instead of food. The toy insert is snap-in and easily removable. But, it does not get any more compact, which really increases the amount of space it takes up (if that's a concern for you). You can theoretically remove the toys from the "jungle" to conserve space, but they snap in very securely so it's a pain. So, when we traveled with Grandma and Grandpa to the beach, etc, the rainforest part stayed behind. Plus, our baby at 1 year old was too old to be interested in it for very long. He just wanted to eat and then get down and crawl/walk around instead of hanging out and playing with the toys. I hoped it would buy us some time at the table, but not at this age! Maybe for a younger baby.

The first time I put our four month old grandaughter in this seat, she immediately grabbed every toy on the tray. We have family dinner on Sundays and it is so nice to have her sitting at her own place at the table. I particularly like the idea of using this seat as a booster chair as she gets older. It replaces having a highchair sitting in my kitchen and can be stored out of sight easily.

As soon as my son (11 months) saw this, he couldn't wait to get to the toys. I have no problem putting the tray on one side at a time with one hand. I also really like that the height is very easy to adjust... so many baby products seem to require some serious muscle to adjust. The only thing I don't like is that the toys don't fold down flat or fit inside and so increase the size of it when folded up for travel.

I got this when my daughter started having solids at 6 months old and she still uses it at 2 1/2 years. I did have to pad the chair with blankets when she was 6 months old to keep her from slumping. At 2 1/2, she is 29 lbs and 34 inches and sits comfortably in it. I can see her using it for a lot longer as a booster chair as well. It is definitely not small as one reviewer mentioned. Of course, all that depends on each child. It is very well made and has been with us on many trips, both domestic and international. My daughter has several allergies so this chair goes everywhere with us. The toy insert keeps younger babies occupied and is cute. The only problem I found with the toy insert was the paper stickers that started peeling off with continued use and washing.
pros: well made, good quality
grows with baby (adjustable table and height and chair back can be removed)
easy to clean (just wipe chair with clorox wipes, table can be put in dishwasher or easily hand washed)
easy to use while holding baby in one hand
light and easy to travel with
fits on most chairs
toy insert keeps baby busy
cons: paper stickers peel off with continued washing
straps tend to get gunky, especially if you have a very messy baby (think chicken puree everywhere)...not a huge problem though since you can just take out the straps and wash them. I let them sit in a cup of vinegar for a while before rinsing them out, takes care of both stains and smells!

What's the difference between this Fisher Price Yellow & Orange booster seat versus the Blue & Green one? Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat - Blue
As you can see from the pictures (but not from the product description), this less expensive Yellow and Orange version does not have the following two features:
1. an extra adjustable base to raise/lower the seat; and
2. the tray insert and cover.
We have both this Yellow/Orange one and the Blue/Green one and find that the extra features are not really necessary. Our kid actually uses the tray insert and cover as a toy.
For a 10 month old, we have the adjustable base at the highest setting on the Blue/Green one. With no additional base, she sits lower on the Yellow/Orange one, but we don't really find it to be an issue.
Otherwise, like others, we really like this product. Better than a highchair in my opinion, because you can easily wash the whole thing down when needed. And good to take to restaurants too.

My general philosophy with baby stuff is to start small, simple, and cheap, and then work my way up to more deluxe things if I find I need them. This booster seat (yellow and orange) is one time that my philosophy paid off. It works so simply and well that I don't see why anyone would get a huge, puffy, expensive high chair.
*It's so easy to clean. No cracks for food, no fabric. The tray can go in the dishwasher. Awesome.
*It's so portable. I unhook it, throw it in the car, and hook it up at a restaurant or friends' house with two quick snaps.
*It brings baby to the table with us. My 6 month old used to fuss his head off the whole time my husband and I ate dinner, but now I put him in this booster seat with a toy or cup of water and he just glows with happiness.
*It's cheap!
I haven't had it long enough to speak to its durability, but so far I'm thrilled. It's a rare treat when something is everything I hoped it would be--and this booster seat is.

When my son was an infant, we purchased him a very fancy peg-perego highchair... talk about a HEADACHE! There were SO many nooks and crannies in that thing that it was a bigger production cleaning the thing than feeding him (and this was when he JUST started cereal!). We got rid of that contraption faster than you can change a babies diaper, and purchased this chair... my life-saver!
First of all, do NOT put your baby into this chair until they can sit up fully unassisted. Since my son started solids at 6 months, he was already sitting up, but was a bit wobbly so I put a few rolled-up towels in the chair to support him. It was a bit difficult feeding him at first, since I couldn't sit directly in front of him, but with some slight leaning, it was very do-able. The harness is a bonus, not because it will keep him from climbing OUT, but it keeps him from sliding DOWN from the chair. If you are looking for something you can put your child in and 1/2 pay attention while doing dishes, do not purchase this chair. Any product without a 5-point harness (in my opinion) requires full attention, and since I always give him my full-attention at meal time (or there is someone else there doing it) its not a problem for me (and just for the sake of it, my son has never tried to climb out, which obviously means he never managed to either). Sometimes food can fall between him and the table, but it just falls onto the towel that I keep underneath his seat, and for the record, a LOT more food would wind up on the floor if he still used a highchair. This is because a highchairs tray is quite short compared to the length of our table, so if he throws something, it usually does not end up on the floor (which means less bending for mom and dad!) And finally, the BEST part of this chair is the fact that it is VERY easy to clean! Just wipe it off with a wet wash-cloth, and occasionally vacuum, and your done! NO nooks OR crannies AT ALL, and I hate to say it, but EVERY highchair has nooks and crannies... although some more than others. It also allows my son to be at the table with me and my husband during dinner, which means he learns our table-manners, and is not pushed off to the side in a highchair. The seat IS portable, but we ourselves do not bring it to restaurants (although it does come with us to other peoples houses), since it is a bit of a pain to fold and unfold. Also, many restaurants do not have four legged tables, but rather a table with one leg in the middle, and that is VERY dangerous to use with this chair, because your babies weight could tip the table over if it becomes un-balanced.
Here are the 3 main reasons I purchased the Caddy Hook-On chair rather than a booster seat that you attach to a regular kitchen chair...
(1) The booster chairs common, plastic, hard seating is not nearly as comfortable as the caddy's fabric, and the seats that DO have fabric are usually very hard to clean
(2) Those seats are NOT one piece like the caddy, and therefore they DO have nooks and crannies where rouge Cheerios or crumbs could climb into (ESPECIALLY the ones that have the un-needed reclining feature, and other adjustments)
(3) It means one less chair at the table, and to me, that is not very convenient
I plan to either purchase another seat for my baby due in July, or re-use the one I have, it is the ONLY way to feed your baby with as little mess as possible!

For safety, the table chair includes a three point safety harness system that retrains but does not restrict baby for maximum comfort. The seat padding can be removed and machine washed. This Hook On Table Chair is safe and sturdy and uses a secure system designed to fasten to the bottom of table. The padded handles sit flat against the top of your table and the universal double locking system hooks and locks to secure the chair to your table.

The BEST Booster Seat I have found.....My kids love it!

First of all, I am more than pleased with this Booster Seat. I had a Cooshie Booster for my first child; I am sorry to say it did not make it to my second! Both the Cooshie and the Prince Lionheart Booster seat are identical in height, and both my children find it quite comfortable. Of course at 2 and 4, they really aren't THAT particular with where they sit!! I especially like the travel bag that comes with the Soft Booster Seat. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel this is one product that deserves all the praise it can get!!

Our son always enjoyed sitting at the table with us since he was in his high chair. We just pulled the high chair up to the table and lowered it a little to make it fit. But he would either not squeeze in all the way, or would be too low. So, we needed to find a solution. I was going to buy the cooshie booster, but found this at the store instead. I loved the idea that you could use it on outdoor furniture too (the cooshie booster didn't mention it--so I gave this one a try). My son seems very comfortable in it and has never argued about sitting in it at meal times (we got the booster shortly after his first birthday). I have had no trouble with this booster. It fits on any chair and doesn't slip (not even on the wooden surface of my kitchen chairs). It's easy to clean and carry anywhere. And now my son is at the perfect height to eat at the table with us indoors and outdoors. I would definitely make this purchase again if I needed more than one booster in the house!
Top choice in boosters -- after 4 children!

This has been the best booster we have ever used! I bought a Cooshie Booster and returned it after 2 weeks as it was already breaking down. One of the employees at Babies R Us suggested the Booster Buddy. We have been using the same one for over 2 years -- for meals, for travel, for playtime, and it is in the same condition as it was when purchased. It is very easy to clean, sits the kids at a good height, is perfect for taking along when traveling or just visiting locally, and I LOVE that it doesn't slip when the kids wiggle around in it like others do. And as far as the review that said it was not solid underneath so you couldn't STACK it on pillows or books??? Well, why would you stack a booster like that unless you want an injured child?! The only thing that could make this booster any better would be a choice in colors. We are on our way out today to buy one for our youngest child, and I can make this purchase knowing that it will truly be money well spent.
Honestly, I was a little unsure when ordering this booster.. because it was 'generic' as opposed to the "cooshie booster" HOWEVER, i must say.. LOVE it!! It's a little harder than the cooshie, but that's a good thing. i think the cooshie boosters tare much easier. Overall i would recommend.. and would def buy this product again.

I was expecting this seat to be less than what it is, based on the reviews. I went back and forth between this seat and the cushee seat, and I finally decided on this one because of the price. It is definitely better than I expected. I am able to simply scrub off any excess mess in the sink with no issues whatsoever. My two-year-old sits comfortably in it, it doesn't slide or move when he's in it or climbing into it, and it's easy to wipe off. If you're unsure, get this one. It's really awesome and does the trick.
A perfect booster seat for when your child outgrows a conventional booster, but is not big enough for a full-size chair. With its non-tip base, it's superior to the conventional, slippery type that needs to be tied down. It's also cozier to sit on because of the light density foam surface. Cushion is washable and portable. Includes a tote bag. 6.5"H x 15"W x 14"D. Blue or Black.

While my 4 year old son thinks he's way too old for a "baby" seat, we often have problems keeping him sitting still at the dinner table if he's kneeling or reaching. This seat fits the bill perfectly - it's comfortable, a great height for an older toddler or preschooler that doesn't need to be belted in, it's easy to wipe or rinse clean, and it doesn't offend his sense of being a "big kid" for eating or other projects at the kitchen table. Plus he loved being able to choose from an assortment of colors.

This seat really needs a strap. I love it otherwise (and so does my son), but he is constantly picking it up or pushing it off. It would be nice if it had some kind of strap to keep it strapped to the chair.

This booster seat seems a little spendy but I'm happy to have purchased it. My son started using it when he was around 18 months old and we've had it about 10 months - no signs of wear at all. It looks attractive and is comfy and lightweight. It cleans up pretty easily. The foam is slightly "grippy" and does not slide around at all on our wooden chairs. I like that there are no straps - nothing to have to fuss with or have to clean. I prefer really simply designed items in general.
My son has learned to sit calmly and properly on a booster without restraints which has been good preparation for when we are using a restaurant booster that also has no straps. It is a bit too large to be considered very portable but I have taken it to the grandparents' house.
Overall, a very nice booster.

This is a nice booster seat. My grandson was resisting using his high chair, even without the tray, but he kept falling off the chair. He is willing to sit in this and I think he is much more comfortable as well as safer. I like that it doesn't need to be strapped onto the chair so it will be easier to move from kitchen to dining room. The hardest part was in deciding what color to get!

Every once in a while, I come across a product that I think needs to be distinguished as truly brilliant. When I first saw the Kaboost, I thought it was the neatest product and the answer to my 2 1/2 year-old son not wanting to sit in a booster seat. I have to admit that once I placed the order I was a bit skeptical if Kaboost would really be easy to use, fit my chair and also be stable. But I have to say, that this product really does live up to its name. It snapped onto my chair in seconds and even stays attached when the chair is moved. It even makes the chair more stable and my son climbs in and out of the chair by himself and feels just like everyone else. I highly recommend this product, it is truly brilliant.

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to add my two cents.
We have been struggling with our Eddie Bauer Highchair since my daughter started using it. I absolutely hated it--it was an unwanted, huge piece of furniture and it was increasingly difficult to get her in and out of it.
As I was ready to chuck it and invest in the pricy Stokke chair, I found out about the Kaboost. Much cheaper and wouldn't take up a whole seat at the table?! I had to get it.
Once you unfold the legs, you extend them and place your chair legs in one at a time. That was it. I got it in dark chocolate, which matches my Indonesian chairs perfectly. Looks a little space age, but a vast improvement on the ugly highchair. It stays on even when the chair is moved and actually stabilizes the chair.
My daughter says, "Mommy 'fixed' the chair so I can sit in it". The best thing about the kaboost will be the look on your child's face when they pull up to the table for the first time in their grown up chair.
Get it. Now.
love it!

We love this product. It was very easy to install (a minute or two) and is very stable. Our 3 year old was constantly sitting on his knees and/or tipping the chair. With the Kaboost, he sits and cannot tip the chair (at least not without great effort). We recently got another one for our 1 year old who wants to be just like everyone else. We got different colors so they can each have their own chair. The lime green is bright, but it's so low to the ground, I don't really even notice it and it's fun for the kids! I'd love more bright colors. The two heights are nice too so they will be able to use it for longer.

This is a great Item because my 3 year old didn't like her booster seat anymore. She now can sit in her "big girl chair" and use the regular cushion that everyone else uses. It is easy to put on! And I don't have to worry about cleaning the booster seat anymore, with all those holes and places food could fall into, who wants to deal with that??? Not me! When my son gets older I will def. use it for him too! Hopefully it will last!

Found this at a Target Greatland store and was thrilled to see it in person. I had been trying to decide between this and the Jeep version. I was leaning more towards this one since there is a 50 pound weigh limit as opposed to Jeep's 45 pound weight limit.
Has 2 straps to secure behind and below a chair.
The bottom has grips.
The adjustable legs are pretty cool - you pull back the velcro, fold it back into the velcro on the bottom so those fabric pieces are out of the way. Lift the legs out and up, then push them down so they click into place - they are very sturdy when pushed in correctly.
Has a carry handle and shoulder strap.
Inside zippered compartment can hold quite a bit. I have a take and toss sippy cup, take and toss silverware in take and toss silverware container, soft travel pack of wipes, a small bib, and I am planning on putting more in there such as the biodegradable disposable placemats. Room for a few small toys. still room for probably a couple diapers (though we're potty training so I won't add those in). There is also one pocket in the storage compartment that I might put a thin book or travel sized coloring book/crayons in. You could fit larger items in the pocket, but keep in mind that takes away from the general storage capability of the rest of it.
The outside of the bag is black and a lime green (which I LOVE). The inside is the same as pictured here. (blue, white, purple, and lime green) Very cute and would work well with either a boy or a girl.
My daughter is 28 months old and weighs 28 pounds. She is a calm toddler, but I still believe an active child would do well in this seat. It's only a 3 point harness, so if you have a toddler that is good at getting out of those, it's probably not the best one for you. Then again, it's a travel booster seat so the short amount of time he/she might be ok.
The Jeep version of this has pockets on the outside sides for additional storage and this Munchkin version does not. But I didn't want something too bulky so this is perfect for me. The interior storage fits enough for us. I also wanted to make sure I would be able to fit this in a suitcase for flights and it will, no problem.
Best Portable Booster

I looked at three different boosters before purchasing this one. Reasons I chose this one:
1. Does not "inflate" so therefore won't lose air and become unusable
2. Sturdy base with pop-out feet that are non-slip
3. Folds up like a breeze for portability
4. Strong enough to use at home on a daily basis
5. Stylish colors that I like (I have a boy, but could be used for a girl easily)
6. Storage compartment keeps all the items we need in a restaurant situation (forks, cup, etc.)
A little more expensive than the other two seats I looked at, but well worth it. My 2-year old is active but he sits well in this seat and likes to be up at table height without having to kneel.
stylish, cute, light, the storage is super convenient.

I bought a couple of these to take along on spring break. I have had a quality issue with one -- one of the straps broke, from the top right which keeps the back upright aligned to the chair back, 4 days into use, when we were fastening it onto a chair and tightening. But this did not detract from the usability. may be a safety issue only if you are using for a very little one. But the manufacturer was extremely helpful though I have to ship back to them at my expense. I had purchased from target which refused to take back a defective used item at the store. I ended up purchasing a replacement from Amzn
I think this would work great for a 9 mo old and up that is pretty steady and can sit upright easily. While it has a 45 lb limit, it may be a tight fit for a chubbier child, would definitely pick the chicco if your kid is over the 85 - 90% in weight for height because my chubbier twin barely fits into the straps at full extension.
If you purchase the Summer Infant Tiny Diner, Blue and Kiddopotamus Bibbity Rinse & Roll Bib in Blue they match perfectly with the seat and store inside the seat easily and you have a travel kit ready to go! I have the green placemat as well and the color does not match quite as nicely if you care about those things :-)
I purchased a couple of these even though I have this one as well --Chicco TravelSeat Hook On Chair, Adventure for my 18 mo twins because the Chicco is heavy and larger to put into a suitcase. For drive to vacations, where space and weight are not constraints I like the chicco better coz it puts the babies at the table. Also the Chicco is washable while this is strictly wipe clean so definitely not for every day use as a booster.
If you purchase the Summer Infant Tiny Diner, Blue and Kiddopotamus Bibbity Rinse & Roll Bib in Blue they match perfectly with the seat and store inside the seat easily and you have a travel kit ready to go!

We bought this for our 8 month old and have used it a few times. It is for travelling and eating out at restaurants or even a friend's house who doesn't have a highchair. It fits well on chairs but I wouldn't leave my son in it. While he is in it, my husband and I are right beside him the whole time, I'm sure this will change as he gets older. The storage compartment in the back is great to store his food, even though it was a little smaller than I expected, but really, you only need it to hold one or two meals. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This chair exceeds my expectations... very sturdy, quick to set up, and very portable. My 2 year old loves to sit in it and the tapered edge keeps the back of his legs comfy. We stash a bib, utensils, wipes, and a 'backup' small plastic plate and bowl inside the storage area and then grab a few cars and a book to fit inside for when we head into a restaurant. Makes our little guy feel more independent. The design is very nice, and the color scheme is colorful enough to be fun yet 'clean' enough to look appropriate inside a restaurant or at a picnic table in the park. Excellent product for a great price.

I originally bought the fisher price healthy care deluxe booster seat and was very pleased with it. So much so that I decided to get another one for our dining room so we could have baby seating with us for formal dinners (the first one is in the kitchen table).
I decided this time to get fisher price precious planet booster seat because I liked the fact of having toys kind of attached to the little table since our baby's favorite game is throwing everything that sits on it.
When we got it I regretted not getting this one from the very beginning. I mean....the only difference between these two seats are that the precious planet comes with an attachable toy tray that's going to give your kid countless hours of distraction vs. a two removable flat trays that you end up never using with the deluxe one.
Now, I'm able to cook without stopping every 5 minutes because my kid is bored in his seat. He can spend up to an hour playing with the little toys in the tray without calling for me. A real life savior!!!
Get this booster seat, it is the same price than the deluxe one, and you'll get more for your money!!
